Immersed in the untamed beauty of remote Southwest Alaska.

Observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, I found myself standing peacefully on the shore of a remote river, watching a brown bear skillfully catch salmon as it swam upstream. I witnessed a mumma bear teaching her cubs crucial survival skills.
These moments were so profound that words often failed to capture the depth of the experience.
*All images were captured from a 50-yard distance and/or from a viewing platform. These are wild bears, and it’s important to note, to protect both the humans and most importantly the bears.
